 My Experience
I have over 20 years of professional design experience and over 15 years of website design and development experience. I started my career in 1990 after graduating with honors from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh with an Associates Degree in Visual Communications. After graduating I went on to work at one of Pittsburgh's largest corporate meeting production facilities, The SLIDEing Board. In 1993 I started working with another company in Pittsburgh called Type N' Slides. My responsibility at Type N' Slides was to design multimedia presentations for corporate companies like; Westinghouse, Pepsi, Heinz and others. I also traveled with these companies on location
offering my experience as a technical consultant and multimedia designer.
I left Type N' Slides in 1999 and started what is known today as Gary Petrie Visual Imaging. Since then I have created countless websites for companies all across the US. I created my first website for Zambelli Fireworks Internationale in 1996. Building solid relationships with clients is very important for my future growth and I work very hard in developing relationships that last. I've
designed websites for companies that include Walt Disney World, Scarborough Research and companies just like yours. My resume includes website designs for numerous companies from New York to Los Angeles. I've designed websites that include services or products for jewelry, homes, food, health care, retail, sports, construction, research, books, magic, cars and much more.
Personal Information
I have been married to a wonderful woman for 16 years and have three beautiful children; two boys and one girl. My wife Joane and I enjoy working on our online business called BabyNameGuide.com. It has become one of the most popular Baby Naming websites on the Internet with over 3,000,000 pageviews a month. My articles/interviews for Baby Name Guide have appeared on MSNBC.com, MTV.com, National Newspapers, Radio and countless websites. I am a Christian and believe that God makes all things possible in my life. I like traveling, board games, shopping, cooking and most importantly, spending time with my wife and kids.
